Seia – Covilhã Loop(140km)

This route starts in Seia, a traditional portuguese town located in Serra da Estrela. If you’re up for a challenge then this ride is for you. More than 3000 meters of elevation and two very long climbs. First you’ll climb “Cabeça do Velho” which is not super hard but it´s very long. Then you’ll get to Manteigas and you’ll ride in the valley for some time. When you get to Covilhã you’ll start the hardest climb of the day that will take you to the highest point of continental Portugal, Torre. There you’ll find a foodtruck/tent that sells “Regueifa” wich is a traditional sweet bread sandwich with prosciutto.
