Covilhã – Unhais – Torre Loop(60km)

This route starts in Covilhã, a traditional portuguese town located in Serra da Estrela. This is a challenging climb that will take you to the highest point of continental Portugal, Torre. To get there you’ll have to go to Unhais and then you’ll have a really long but amazing climb to Torre. There will be a short gravel section but is 100% fine to go with the road bike. You can stop in Unhais for a coffee and a pastry at “Primavera”. But also when you get to the top of Torre you can go to a foodtruck/tent that sells “Regueifa” wich is a traditional sweet bread sandwich with prosciutto.
