The itinerary started in:

finishing in:

Completing a total 3000+M of elevation & 4 days of riding.

TLDR: Absolutely fantastic experience. First-rate team, great gravel riding, excellent lodging, wonderful part of Portugal.

My partner and I joined a group of friends that totaled 11 for five nights and four days of gravel riding. We hadn’t been part of the general planning or specific selection of Paradise Cycling, so had no idea what was in store for us ... and couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised.

TEAM: Fiona and Tomas tended to our every need with smiles, grace, and expertise. They are multi-taskers extraordinaire, and never with even the slightest hint of stress.

ROUTES: We had 2-3 routes to choose from on each of our four riding days, with variants on each also on offer if need be. I was there for the gravel, and it was great gravel, but really enjoyed most of the paved sections as well.

LODGING: Our group filled the guest house in Alte. Nice rooms with individual bathrooms, comfortable common sitting/dining area, and a rooftop lounging area and hot tub to top it off. Full breakfasts included, to go with eating out at the several nice restaurants in town.

ALGARVE: I’d never been to Portugal, but now know why people rave about it. Beautiful, light traffic, March temps (mid 60s) were perfect. And affordable!
