Why the Algarve?
Sunshine when you need it most!
As one of the most southerly regions of Europe, the Algarve benefits from a fabulous climate. Perfect for winter sun, springtime warmth or autumn colours.
A different ride every day
Easy coastal roads, inland hills, forests of cork and eucalyptus and quiet fishing villages are all within reach. You’ll never have to do the same ride twice!
That holiday feeling…
End you day with a view of the ocean sipping Portuguese wine or wandering the cobbled streets. If your partner doesn’t ride – no worries! There is plenty more to do here
An easy European adventure
The Algarve is culturally rich and large parts are beautifully unspoilt. But if you’re an English-speaker, you’ll still find it welcoming, friendly and easy to get around

Is cycling in the Algarve safe?
Yes, cycling in the Algarve is generally very safe, particularly in comparison with many regions in North America. Drivers are typically very tolerant of cyclists and traffic volumes are low. For our clients we choose our favourite backroads, winding gravel tracks and dedicated cycleways.
Is the Algarve suitable for beginner riders?
Yes! The coastal plains feature miles of flat, easy riding and dedicated cycleways, including Eurovelo 1, which we use for our Algarve Coast Tour. This is a great options for new cyclists or those looking to travel at a slower pace.

Why Paradise?
Local Cycling Experts
We live and ride here. Every route, café stop, climb and hotel recommendation is selected from genuine, up to date local knowledge - not copied or guessed. Routes are updated each year and we are always exploring new routes to take our clients.
Over 15 years experience
We have been riding in Portugal since 2011, and have never stopped exploring. Since then we have welcomed over 700 customers and delivered over 200 tours. We have developed fantastic relationships with all the hotels, restaurants, cafés and other partners who help make our trips a success for our clients.
Our tours are our own creation
Every itinerary is created and maintained by our own team; we do not simply resell a standard overseas tour-operator package. Our tours are all totally unique (for example our signature Iberian Divide Gravel Tour), routes plotted meticulously by our team and all the hotels chosen carefully to suit the tour style. We create many custom tours for individuals and groups as well.
Local Team, International Communication
We are a multilingual team of English and Portuguese natives. This makes communication with English-speaking clients extremely easy, as well as seamless organisation on the ground in Portugal where for an operator, speaking the local language is a necessity.
