This huge expanse in Portugal’s interior is unknown to most tourists. The Alentejo’s expansive plains are dotted with small villages that feel utterly untouched by modern life, but some of the best producers of cheese, wine and olive oil in the country are still found here.

From Castro Verde, the home of gravel in Portugal to the Costa Vicentina on the west coast, all the way over to the eastern historic fortified villages of Monsaraz and Marvão, it’s an area you must see!

Ci ha tracciato un percorso fantastico con panorami bellissimi, abbiamo percorso  strade senza traffico e con fondo perfetto. Ottima scelta di Hotel e ristoranti.
